Hurricane Electric Hosts Optimization Seminar
Fremont, California - June 6, 2002 - Hurricane Electric, a leading business Technical Service Provider, will host their first seminar in a series on web performance and optimization on July 20.

Tony Bourke, O'Reilly author of Server Load Balancing, will lead the comprehensive seminar, which includes detailed discussions on scaling infrastructure and major issues impacting web performance.

"There are so many people who could be getting better performance from their web servers," said Anna Shaver, director of sales for Hurricane Electric. "We want everyone to spend their money efficiently and practically. This seminar will give them the knowledge to do so."

Hurricane Electric is sponsoring the seminar to allow attendees to learn how to get the best possible performance from their web sites. Bourke will discuss how to choose the right CPU, memory, storage, cache, load balancing, etc., and increase the performance of a Web site by as much as 500%, which can help significantly cut hardware, software and Internet service costs and improve reliability.

Seminar attendees will receive a free month of colocation at Hurricane Electric's Fremont facility for their participation. They will also receive a free copy of Web Performance and Tuning by P. Killelea, and a 50% discount on Bourke's book, Server Load Balancing.
